Personnel Certification
Develop Skills for Today and Tomorrow
The goal of CSA Standards’personnel certification programs in the environmental sector is to develop, evaluate and recognize the special skills needed to help organizations reduce their environmental or carbon footprint.
Personnel certification will be of interest to employers, regulators and professionals who require specific credentials to participate or gain a competitive advantage in particular service sectors.
Upon certification, the applicant gains recognition and credibility as an expert in their field. Employers benefit from a highly-trained workforce whose advanced skills contribute to improved performance levels, reduced risk and better bottom line results.
In the environmental area, CSA Standards currently offers the following personnel certification programs:
| Greenhouse Gas Quantifiers | Certification is intended for individuals who wish to demonstrate competence in developing, quantifying and reporting greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories. This certification will assist organizations that recognize the market shift toward regulating GHG emissions. |
| Greenhouse Gas Verifier | Certification is useful for those responsible for internal audits of organizational greenhouse gas inventories or those providing independent greenhouse gas verification services to companies, greenhouse gas project proponents, investors or others. |
Visit CSA Standards for more information about these Personnel Certification programs or to submit an application.
